A frequência dos LEDs intermitentes indica o nível de tensão na cerca. Quanto maior o período entre os flashes, menor a tensão na cerca. A intensidade da luz permanece a mesma para que possa ser vista de longe, independentemente da tensão da cerca. Ele é instalado entre a terra e o fio energizado para indicar o status e a condição da cerca para sua tranquilidade.
